Welcome
This application was designed for the league or tournament bowler that wants to build their confidence, increase their average, and improve their overall chances of winning.

The Bowling Lane
On each lane there are 39 wood-style boards that run the length of the lane. If you are a right-handed bowler, you would count your boards from right to left. If you are a left-handed bowler, you would count your boards from left to right. You must be comfortable with how to count the boards on a lane in order to properly use this application.

Target Board
This number represents the board or arrow area you would like the ball to travel through when thrown. Please enter a number between 1 and 39.

Boards of Angle
This number represents the angle you would like the ball to travel down the lane. Please enter one of the following numbers to create your angle: 0, 2, 4, and 6. The greater the number is, the steeper the angle.

Personal Number
This number indicates the direction you naturally walk when on the approach before throwing the ball. If you walk straight on the approach, you can use the number 7. If you drift away from your intended target, enter a number between 1 and 7. If you drift towards your target, enter a number between 7 and 14.

Calculate Your Personal Number
If you do not know your personal number it is highly recommended that you find a bowling coach who can assist you with determining one. In the meantime, if you have partner that can assist you, we have provided step-by-step instructions on who to calculate your personal number.

Step 1:
Your going to be throwing a few balls, so get your self prepared and warmed up. Grab your ball and stand on board 20 with your starting foot. Make sure your foot completely covers the board lining up with the inside part of your sole. (Do not cover board 19).

Step 2:
Target the second arrow from the right if you are right-handed and the second arrow from the left if you are left-handed.

Step 3:
While keeping your eyes on your target (second arrow), approach the foul line and throw the ball. Make sure you maintain your balance after throwing the ball and do not move your feet.

Step 4:
Look down at your slide foot and notice where your foot ended up. Count the amount of boards you drifted from away from board 20. top to Step 2 and do this process over several times. Write the number of boards down and take the average. If you did not drift at all, the number you should use is zero.

Step 5:
Now it's time to calculate your personal number. If you drifted to a board less than board 20, add that number to 7 to get your personal number. If you drifted to a board greater than board 20, subtract that number from 7 to get your personal number. If you drifted zero boards, then your personal number is 7.

Calculate Angle
After you have entered your target board, boards of angle, and personal number, press the “Calculate Angle” button at the top right of the “Right Lane” or “Left Lane” screens.

Stand On...
This will indicate where the inside of your left or right starting foot should be standing before you start your approach.

Pivot Your Foot...
Depending on the boards of angle entered, you will pivot the heel of your starting foot to align you with your visual target.

Target...
This is the area of the lane you will target when you throw the ball. Generally this area will be around the second pair of dots after the foul line.
